Uniting the community through inclusion and sustainability, the Art with Purpose project was born – a collaboration between the artist Osir and the artists of the APPDA Lisbon Association.
From the work of the #REFLETE collection, created by Osir exclusively for the Inspira Santos Boutique Hotel, more than an artistic initiative is born, a movement is born. A movement that builds real bridges through creative expression, giving visibility to unique talents who, in the eyes of society, remain on the margins.
By involving people with autism in a collaborative artistic process, the project not only promotes inclusion, but it also elevates human diversity as a central value of creation. Here, each participant is recognized for their unique look, their genuine gestures, their pure way of communicating through art. It’s a space where difference is not a limitation, but a creative expression.
This is art without filters, without masks. An honest, sensitive, genuinely human art that doesn’t seek to please, but to express. It doesn’t hide behind conventions but reveals the raw beauty of the individual’s creative experience as a being capable of seeing,
feeling and expressing. In every brushstroke there is truth. In each composition, a testimony to the authenticity that can only come from the freedom to be.
Like OSIR’s work, the Art with Purpose project is also a mirror in which society is invited to reflect. To reflect on how it looks at its neighbors, on the space that difference must coexist. On how it relates to what lives around it.
At a time when noise and speed take us away from what is essential this piece suggests slowing down and observing.It suggest listening, it suggests empathy.
